Special clinic for Medical check-up examinations
Medical prevention examinations nowadays play a major role in detecting diseases at an early stage and their risk factors.
For this purpose our clinic has specialized in medical check-up examinations and developed differentiated programs.
These are directet at people who are interested in performing an integrated medical analysis and getting individualized recommendations.
The standard program is called Basic-Program (with one click you can see the exact content) and is considered as a general and holistic health examination that checks the whole body and all organ functions by various medical techniques and detailed blood analyses.
The Cardio-Program consists of the Basic-Program and in addition an ultrasound examination of the heart and the vessels in order to get more informations about the cardiovascular system and the cardiovascular risk (e.g., heart attack, stroke).
Unfortunately, serious, life threatening illnesses, such as a heart attack or a stroke, can occur unannounced.
Risk factors like high blood pressure or high cholesterol levels usually do not cause any noticeable symptoms and are therefore known as silent killers resulting in progressive arteriosclerosis. Arteriosclerosis, better known as fatty deposits are occlusions in the vessels causing an irregular blood supply to the heart or brain. It is therefore essential to identify these risk factors at an early stage and treat them accordingly, if necessary.
In-depth explanations and discussions at the end of the tests as well as a detailed medical written report are part of both programs, of course.
Make today an appointment for your individual check-up program, your body will be grateful as it is an investment for your future!
Frequently Asked Questions about check-ups
Why should you have a check-up?
No one likes to get sick. With the medical resources we have available to us nowadays, we are able to detect diseases or their risk factors (which often do not cause any symptoms) at an early stage so that countermeasures can be taken if necessary.
Who should get a check-up?
In principle, everyone should have a check-up at least once in their lifetime, especially from the age of 40; in specific situations, particularly when there are risk factors or the patient has an underlying condition, it is a good idea to have one earlier.
What does a check-up in our clinic entail?
The patient's medical history is recorded and analyzed, and the patient is given a thorough physical examination. Most diagnoses are still made this way today. This is followed by a blood test (preferably at least a day in advance so that all the results are available on the day of the examination), and, depending on the selected program, technical tests to check all the patient's bodily functions. Finally, all the findings are collated and discussed with the patient, who is then provided with individualized recommendations. A written report is also compiled in understandable language. All the tests are non-invasive, painless and safe. Please allow approx. one and a half hours for the check-up (depending on the program).
What happens when a significant finding is made?
We take responsibility for the patient, i.e. whenever a finding is identified which requires further clarification/treatment, we refer the patient in question immediately (with their prior consent) to the appropriate specialist within our extensive network so that the best possible treatment can be started as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Is a check-up covered under health insurance?
Check-ups are not covered under basic insurance; we create a package price, no billing by TARMED, please consult your insurance in advance
